Front Desk

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones/Scheduling patients
  • Prepare patient forms for next day appts
  • Check patients in: collect copays and updating demographic, insurance, and contact information
  • Stock waiting room supplies- hand sanitizer, brochures, Kleenex, etc.

Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Clinical support (rooming patients, vitals, onsite testing, etc.)
  • Immunization/vaccination recording (ALERT)
  • Population Health
  • Blood draws if sufficient experience with pediatric patients
  • Organize and prepare exam rooms
  • Prepare for the day, looking for each patient and anticipate needs, i.e.-vaccines, type of insurance,  medications, etc.
  • Support front office/take calls
  • Reviewing nurse/physician message box
  • Scheduling patients
  • Checking and monitoring inventory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Registered Nurse

  • Hours are 8:30am-5pm, potential for extended “On-Call” hours to 6pm once a week
  • Looking ahead at the schedule to prepare for each patient and anticipate needs, i.e.-vaccines, type of insurance, medically/socially complex patients,  medications, etc.
  • Organize and prepare exam rooms.
  • Triage parent/patient phone calls utilizing Barton Schmitt pediatric protocols as a reference
  • Coordinate Care as a care team with medical providers
  • Manage provider patient schedule and provide routine nursing care to patients
  • Attend Nurse and QI meetings (usually once a month)
  • Utilize all equipment with care and keep organized and clean, i.e.-Vision Screener, Pulse Ox, OAE, Hearing/Vision room, POC lab room, Spirometry, Med Room.
  • Monitor prescription refill requests
