Billing and Insurance

Our billing office is open from 9:00 AM- 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. The department is open and accessible, and the staff is available to answer any questions about your account and insurance.  Connect with our billing department through MyChart for the quickest response. Please call front desk if you need to set up MyChart.

We recommend that you are aware of your insurance coverage and specific benefits, limitations and financial responsibilities. With thousands of insurance companies and benefit plans, we are unable to know the details of each individual plan. We attempt to provide care within your insurance benefit allowances, however; our primary concern is to recommend the medically appropriate care for your child.

As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill your insurance upon receipt of a current insurance card. To assure maximum benefits, please bring your insurance card to every visit. Often, important numbers change, so inform us if you receive a new card, and whether it is from a new company or the same one.

Co-pays are due at the time of service. This is an agreement between you and your insurance company. We accept cash, personal checks, and most major credit cards for co-pays and account payments.

If you are without insurance and would like to pay for your visit the same day, we offer a 15% discount.

Many insurance plans require referral or authorizations. Please contact our referral department at 503-635-3743, prior to having services performed.

At our pediatric office, we are committed to providing the most comprehensive, evidence-based, preventative care for your child. To ensure the best outcomes for their health and development, we follow the guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

As part of each well-child visit, we will perform all recommended screenings appropriate for your child’s age. These screenings are essential for identifying medical concerns and developmental delays early on. Detecting issues early allows us to intervene promptly, leading to better, faster recoveries and ultimately saving time and money in the long run.

Most insurance plans typically cover both the well-child visit and the standard screenings. However, some insurance plans may cover only the visit itself, leaving the patient responsible for the cost of the screenings. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider to confirm coverage details.
