Meet Dr. Carlson

After medical school, I was in the Air Force for seven years as a pediatrician and got to live in Washington, D.C, South Korea, and Spokane, Washington. After getting out of the military in 2020, I realized that I loved working in a small clinic where I can get to know my patients well and where it’s easy for them to get a hold of me with questions.​

When I’m not working, I love to hike, Nordic ski, crochet, and spend time with my husband, toddler, dog, and two cats. I have a strong interest in lifelong learning and am currently pursuing an MFA in poetry at Warren Wilson College.
