Dr. Meri Harper

Meet Dr. Meri Harper, a pediatrician with Olson Pediatric Clinic in Lake Oswego

Dr. Harper will be moving with her family to North Carolina, her last day is August 12, 2020. We all wish her and her family the best!

I grew up in a small town outside Nashville, TN, and stayed in Nashville for both college and medical school. I was drawn to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and came to Portland for residency where I met my husband, Sean, who is a family physician here in Lake Oswego. I have always loved both science and children, and I was inspired to become a physician by my dad (who is a retired radiologist) and by my own pediatrician who mentored me during medical school. I have enjoyed raising my two daughters here in Lake Oswego alongside many of my patients and I love the community here.”

Special Interests

  • Lactation and support of breastfeeding
  • Adolescent medicine
  • Nutrition
  • Mindfulness

I enjoy partnering with families in sharing resources and education to help parents in making the best decisions for their children together. Raising happy, healthy kids involves addressing the needs of the whole person and their family.

I joined Olson Pediatrics in 2010.

I am a physician and think the world of the care Dr. Harper provides us!  I also appreciate that the practice always tries to accommodate our schedule.”

Meri Harper is an absolutely fantastic doctor.  She is caring and intelligent and always makes time to listen to our concerns as well as provide our whole family with exceptional care.”
